I am Peter Klooster, a 21 year old Indie Game Developer sudent from Breda (Netherlands). At the age of 13 I found my way to the internet and started using lots of my spare time to learn how too build a website and I’ve been learning almost every day ever since.
After the 3rd year of HAVO I decided to make my hobby into my work and I decided to change education to Multi Media Design (Web-design). After visiting the information day of MMD I felt like that education wouldn’t be able to teach me enough anymore since I already knew, HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL & Photoshop. My biggest dream by then was to have my own company one day which would create great websites and webapps, and I felt that 3D and flash would be the future of the web so I decided to go to Game Design because I would learn them both there.
In the first year of Game Design I had lots of troubles with the education because they weren’t challenging me enough and the programming lessons we got weren’t much good. While having too much free time I decided to teach myself everything I wanted to know that school wouldn’t teach me. And ever since I’ve been following the design lessons of school, making they’re projects and meanwhile teaching my self to program.
In the summer of 2012 I graduated from Game Design and since then I’ve been working for Conoship International & Dredgevision. Both companies design modern ships and I have the task to render the ships in 3D.
Besides working for those two companies I regularly do some web development assignments for different companies as well as creating an android/IOS/Win-mobile app with a friend in the hope we can sell it later.
In this document I show you some of the work I’ve made in the last couple of years. Starting from the beginning of my ‘career’ until some recently finished projects. I hope this will show you the progress I’ve made.
